TEJAS YADAV : In his final year of B Sc in Microbiology and Biochemistry at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, Tejas also did the Diploma Programme in Forensic Science offered by the college. Keen on pursuing pure science, he plans to take up a Master's course in Biological Sciences at a university in the UK, preferably at Oxford.
   
SAGNIK DHAR : A B E in Computer Science from the Visveswaraiah Technological University, Sagnik has been working with Nokia India Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore as a software engineer. Interested in the areas of Distributed Systems and Internet Security and perceiving the need for 'vertical' knowledge, he plans to do a Master's programme in the subject at the Pennsylvania State University.
   
SREYASHI SEN : After schooling in Kolkata, Sreyashi joined St. Stephen's College, Delhi for a B A in Economics. She did a summer internship at the Centre for Civil Society and was part of a Public Policy Think Tank for two months. Wanting to pursue a career in economic policy making or in microeconomics, she plans to join the London School of Economics for an M Sc in Economics.
   
JYOTI NARULA RANJAN : Jyoti is a B Sc in Electronics from Hansraj College, Delhi and has a Master's in Computer Application from Delhi University. These degrees and some years of work experience as a software engineer have taken her into the area of product development. Perceiving the need to hone her entrepreneurial skills, she has joined the Indian School of Business for a course in Management.
   
DEEKSHA SHARMA : An L L B from the Amity Law School, GGSIP University, Deeksha is also a trained Bharat Natyam dancer. While at law school she worked as research assistant with judges at the Delhi High Court, and the Supreme Court and helped in drafting judgements. She also worked as a legal counselor in the National Legal Aid Camps in the slums of Delhi. She now plans to join the Bachelor of Civil Laws course at Oxford University.
   
VINOD KUMAR RAMCHANDRAN : A B Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University, Vinod completed an M S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a Distinguished Graduate Fellowship. For the last five years he has been working with Motorola in Bangalore as Project Lead - Advanced Technologies. He has filed 10 patents in less than 5 years and has several publications to his credit. He is joining IIM - Ahmedabad for their PGPX course in General Management and hopes to leverage his technical expertise and business education 'to make compelling contributions to the Indian wireless landscape'.
   
ANAHITA MEHTA : Interested in the field of auditory sciences and communication disabilities from an early age, Anahita took up undergraduate studies in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. She studied at the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped. A sports enthusiast, she has also successfully completed a course in rifle shooting. Interested in the electrophysiological aspects of audiology, she plans to do her Master’s in Audiology in the UK. She has secured admission at University College London for their M Sc course in Audiological Science
   
SATISH POLISETTI : A B E in Mechanical Engineering and in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, Satish is presently working with Infineon Technologies, Bangalore. His short term goal is to get into Product Management and grasp the subtleness of information and systems management, while his long term goal is social entrepreneurship. He is joining the University of California at Berkeley for the Master's program in Technology Management.
   
ADITHYA RAO : In the final year of the B E course in Electrical and NAROTAM SEKHSARIA SCHOLARS 2008 Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani Goa Campus, Adithya has worked on research projects at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. He has secured admission to the M S / Ph D program in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.
   
ROHIT PANDHARKAR : A student of the College of Engineering, Pune, Rohit is in the final year of the B Tech course in Electronics and Telecommunication. He has passed the Indian Classical Music exams from Gandharva Vidyalaya with distinction. Interested in pursuing a Master's in Electrical Engineering he has secured admission to Stanford University as well as MIT, and is now joining the M S course in Media Arts and Sciences at MIT.
SNEHA RAO : After her H S C Sneha joined the B D S course at the Nair Dental College, and though she did well she soon realized that wasn't her calling. Hence, after a year she switched to the B Sc course in Life Science and Biochemistry at St. Xavier's College. Interested in 'white biotechnology' she is joining Johns Hopkins University for an M S in Biotechnology.
