The Narotam Sekhsaria
Foundation has been set up by an endowment from Mr. Sekhsaria
and his family and supports projects primarily in the areas
of health and education. The Foundation aims to recognize
and promote excellence. To achieve this objective, the Foundation
has set up the Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme to
evolve a group of young professionals and leaders of high
caliber imbued with values of enterpreneurship and ethics.
They shall be committed to achieving the professed goals
of excellence.
Mr.
Narotam Sekhsaria, guided by a deep sense of commitment
towards societal growth, nurtured a dream for long —
that of enhancing intellectual excellence among young Indian
students. After brainstorming, one idea that took shape
was to institute a scholarship to enable meritorious and
brilliant students to excel by helping them to pursue higher
studies. With this in mind, the Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship
has been instituted with its base in Mumbai. It will be
open to meritorious Indian students pursuing post graduate
studies in leading and prestigious institutes in India and
abroad.
The
students will receive an interest free loan up to a maximum
of rupees ten lakhs. The scholar should put in added effort
to acquire the rest.
