Q. Can an applicant register with different email ids?
A. No, you should register with a single email id..
Multiple registrations do not guarantee a scholarship and will constitute misuse
of the terms of use of this Site and liable for deactivation of all such
accounts.
Q. Is there any other way to apply for PG scholarship other than online?
A. No, we will only scrutinize application forms of the
students who have duly completed their forms along with the relevant documents
online. No hardcopies of the forms or the documents should be mailed, couriered
or deposited at the office.
Q. Can a student who is seeking admission for 2013 apply?
A. We offer interest free loan scholarships to only those students who will be
joining university in the fall of 2012.
Q. Who is eligible to apply?
A. Meritorious and deserving students who are looking
to pursue higher studies in reputed universities in India or abroad are eligible
to apply. Students should however fall between the age group of 18 to 30 (as on
January 31st of the year of application) and should be Indian nationals.
Q. Which prestigious universities?
A. A university which is held in high esteem for its
curriculum and teaching standards is considered as a prestigious university. E.g
IIM’s, ISB in Hyderabad, IIT’s , John Hopkins, Stanford, MIT in USA and London
School of Economics, Oxford, Cambridge and SOAS in the UK, etc.
Q. What are the dates for application?
A. The forms will be available and should be submitted
online from January 10, 2012 to March 20, 2012 only. Thereafter, no forms will
be accepted.
Q. Is there a fee for filling up the online PG forms?
A. Yes, for every application fees there will be a fee of Rs. 500. This amount
is non- refundable.
Q. What is the procedure after the form is submitted?
A. Once the form is submitted, it will be scrutinized . Only the shortlisted candidate will be called
for a personal interview in June 2012 in Mumbai The award of scholarship is
solely at the discretion of management and the decision of Selection Committee
shall be final.
Q. What does the award amount seek to cover?
A. The award will cover only the tution fee of the relevant university. However,
the amount money is subject to a maximum of Rs. 15 lacs. In addition, the
selection committee may also choose to include additional or incidental
educational expenses charged by the university. However, the decision to include
or exclude such expenses lies solely with the selection committee and their
decision in such matter will be final and binding. Applicants are advised to
submit the entire estimate of costs (direct and indirect) while making the
application.
